报告题目:Perturbation on KP equation and chord dynamics

摘要:As we know, the stability of multi-solitons of 2+1 dimensional integrable equations is quite difficult. In this talk, we will report our recent development on the perturbative theory on KP equation. This theory help us in studying the evolution of the solutions of KP equation when the initial value is truncated line solitons. The whitham theory of KP equation we developed is quite related to dynamics of chord diagrams in combinatorics. We developed a theory of spectral perturbative graphs and chord dynamics. Particularly we will focus on the (3142)-KP-soliton solutions which is related to the famous Mach reflection. The theory might be also used to study the 2+1 dimensional gap problem and dam breaking problem. This is a joint work with Professor Yuji Kodama and my students.

李传忠,山东科技大学数学与系统科学学院教授,博士生导师,山东省泰山学者。2011年博士毕业于中国科学技术大学数学学院,美国俄亥俄州立大学联合培养博士。美国数学评论(Mathematical Reviews)特邀评论员、德国数学文摘(Zentralblatt Math)特邀评论员。主要从事数学物理方向的研究工作。2015年入选宁波市领军和拔尖人才培养工程。2020年入选山东省泰山学者青年专家。 主持国家自然科学基金面上项目2项和国家青年基金项目1项,主持浙江省自然科学基金一般项目2项。在国际数学物理类学术期刊上以第一作者或唯一通讯作者身份发表SCI论文100篇。
