摘 要 (Abstract): The search for primordial non-Gaussianity is an important probe of the early universe and can provide valuable information about the physics of inflation. I will discuss the possibility of measuring primordial non-Gaussianity through space-borne measurements of the cosmological gravitational wave background. We focus on the scalar non-Gaussianity generated during inflation, which can leave an imprint on the induced gravitational wave background. We show that by measuring the correlation function of the induced gravitational wave background, it is possible to constrain the amount of scalar non-Gaussianity present in the early universe. We will also discuss the impact of various astrophysical and instrumental effects on the measurement of primordial non-Gaussianity, and show that future space-based gravitational wave detector networks have the potential to significantly improve our understanding of the early universe.

 

报告人简介(Bio): 王赛,高能物理研究所理论物理室,副研究员。2009年本科毕业于华中科技大学,2014年博士毕业于中国科学院高能物理研究所,2014至2019年在中国科学院理论物理所、香港中文大学物理系、日本高能加速器研究机构(KEK)理论中心做博士后研究。研究方向为宇宙学,主要从事暗物质、宇宙起源及早期演化相关理论研究。目前在PRL等国际期刊上发表40余篇论文,获得中国科学院“百人计划”择优支持。
