摘要：Nonlinear Schrodinger equation, short pulse equation, and complex short pulse equation are

important integrable equations. They have widely physical applications, especially in nonlinear optics.

In this talk, we will address the topic on the short pulse equations. We will review several results about short pulse equation and complex short pulse equation.

报告人简介：

朱佐农，上海交通大学数学科学学院长聘教授，博士生导师。学术研究方向是可积系统理论和应用。 在可积系统的若干重要问题研究上取得引人关注的创新性成果，在数学物理国际重要学术期刊，如 Physica D，J. Diff. Eqs, J. Nonlinear Sci., Phys. Rev. E, Chaos, Proceedings Roy. Soc.A, J. Phys. A, J.Math.Phys, Stud.Appl.Math.发表近90篇研究论文。先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目6项、上海市浦江人才计划项目。分别参加香港RGC、西班牙教育和创新部、西班牙经济和竞争部、国家自然科学基金海外合作等科研项目。先后学术访问美国、西班牙、加拿大、巴西、日本、墨西哥的大学。
