摘要：Nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation, short pulse (SP) equation and complex short pulse (CSP) equation have important applications in nonlinear optics. They can be derived from the Maxwell equation. In this talk, we will address some topics on the CSP equation. We will report our results for a two-component coupled focusing-defocusing CSP equation. The bright-bright, bright-dark and dark-dark soliton, and breather solutions of the two-component coupled focusing-defocusing CSP equation will be discussed. This talk is based on the joint work with B. F. Feng, L. M. Ling and J. Yang.

报告人简介：

朱佐农，上海交通大学数学学院教授，博士生导师。学术研究方向是孤子和可积系统理论。 在可积系统的研究上取得若干重要成果，在有重要影响的数学物理国际学术期刊，如 J. Diff. Eqs, Phys. Rev. E, Physica D, Roy. Soc. J. Proceeding A, J.Math.Phys, Stud.Appl.Math, J Phys.A 发表60多篇研究论文。先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目5项、上海市浦江人才计划项目1项和教育部留学回国人员基金项目1项。 分别参加香港RGC项目1项，西班牙教育和创新部科研项目2项, 西班牙经济和竞争部科研项目2项， 国家自然科学基金海外合作项目1项。 先后学术访问美国、西班牙、加拿大、英国、巴西、日本、墨西哥的大学，开展科研合作研究。
