报告摘要:Strominger et al argued that gravity S-Matrix should have BMS symmetry and found a deep connection between BMS supertranslation and Weinberg’s soft graviton theorem. This idea has been considered by many authors. Hawking et. al. generalized this idea to near horizon symmetries and related it with the black hole information paradox. In this talk, I will generalize Hawking's idea and give a more complete discussion in the frame work of isolated horizon. If I have time, I will also present a new type of electromagnetic memory at null infinity which is found by us and show the equivalence between the electromagnetic memory formulas and the soft photon theorems.

吴小宁研究员,2001年博士毕业于中科院数学与系统科学研究院;2002-2003, AEI洪堡学者;2003-2005, 国立中央大学博士后;2007年起,进入中科院数学与系统科学研究院工作。
