摘要：
In this talk, we are concerned with a complex short pulse equation of focusing and defocusing type. We firstly construct the focusing and defocusing complex short pulse equation from the motion of space curve in Euclidean and Minkowski space, respectively. Then we construct its multi-soliton solution based on Hirota’s bilinear method and Sato theory. It is very interesting that ,similar to the nonlinear Schrodinger (NLS) equation, the focusing complex short pulse equation admits bright soliton solution, while the defocusing complex short pulse equation possessing the dark soliton solution.
Baofeng Feng 教授简介：
Baofeng Feng 教授早年毕业于清华大学，获得物理及数学双学士。后留学日本，分别获得名古屋大学硕士和京都大学博士学位。经历新加坡国立大学博士后和美国堪萨斯大学访问教授后，现在是德克萨斯大学-泛美分校数学系教授,博士生导师。Baofeng Feng教授的研究方向是非线性波，可积系统以及偏微分方程的数值算法。在国际相关刊物上发表论文50余篇，组织了20多次国际会议的专题并发表报告100余次。
